Considering that there are 22 groups, can the DI report be disaggregated by the 22 groups?
Can the breakdown of non-white and other pacific islander groups be added to the DI report?
How can Afghan and Hmong students be added to separate sub-categories? There are specific needs within each of these groups.
Note: Without disaggregated data of all groups, it will be challenging to address the needs of each group.

To do:
Email DI report to API team.

ACTION ITEMS:
Question Person(s) Responsible Notes and Decision(s) Next Steps
What should we name our team? Choices include: Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI), Asian and Pacific Islander American (APIA), Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI), or Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American (APIDA). All -Selecting a name that is comprehensive is important.
-Considering that there are so many subgroups, we should include an asterisk noting the complexity of the various ethnicities.
-Selecting a name that is familiar (API, APA, AAPI); selecting a common name that we all recognize is important; using an unfamiliar name may cause confusion.
API-Asian Pacific Islander
APA-Asian Pacific Islander American
AAPI-Asian American Pacific Islander
-APIDA: This acronym may not speak to inclusion considering that Desi means from a specific group.
-The team has decided to go with API to keep it consistent with how the various groups are known.

What are the Team's communication preferences? All The team has a Google folder with Los Rios. Neue will add all team members to the folder. Anyone with the link can view and access the files.
