How Can Community Agreements be Useful? Pam Chao ○ Guidelines vs Foundations vs Community Agreements
■ Not just individuals in the room, but instead the community in the room.
■ Knowing what triggers you, greater group vs the individual, power dynamics
■ Having a general consensus on what the agreement should look like.
■ Equity Action Institute to start implementing Community Agreements
■ Definition: What expectation are to be here together.
■ Can we create a container that everyone is together at the same time “We are all a community together here.”
■ Community agreement helps to bring everyone into the same room.
