     -Classified Professionals have been going through the process for the caring campus initiative this semester and will host a kickoff this fall during flex week. 

-Last meeting will be This friday (still deciding if they will host another one)
-Region 2 Summit will take place the first week of June
-Recommendations for the ARC Calendar on the website and specifically the calendar
-Student Stipends resolution was passed in the Student Advisory committee and at their sister colleges, waiting on next steps
-Working on the end of year summit

-Election results: New addition Mieke San Julian (Psychology) for AS Secretary. Continuing Veronica Lopez AS President, Daniel Slutsky, AS Vice President and Alisa Shubb, Past President. 
-Senate Approved the UDA Critical Hire Request
-Discussed LRCCD Emergency Closure Distance Education Addendum
-Sent out notification to all Adjunct/Part-Time ARC Senators and Curriculum Committee members to complete the Compensations Google form to get paid
-Approved Faculty Coordinator JDs for ARC Homebase to Pathways Coordinators, Rising Scholars, PRISE Learning Community Coordinator 
(Asian, Asian American, and Asian Diaspora Focus), PRISE Learning Community Coordinator (Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Focus) and UDA Coordinator.
-Discussed Title 5 Curriculum Updates
-Discussed the District Equity Student Success Committee (DESSC) AI Taskgroup recommended Guidelines.
-Discussed ARC Mental Health Resources
-During ELT we discussed the potential to have a FLEX event that goes over this topic this fall.
-Senate receiving questions about LRCCD Community Engagement Survey

-Upcoming Library Elevator Modernization Project scheduled to begin June 1 for 8 weeks. Includes improved safety features & reliability.
-The Location Safety Committee discussed panic button feasibility. Installing a wired panic button is not feasible due to complexities associated with asbestos abatement, electrical, and financial implications. 
-There was a remodel done a while back of the VP suite. Due to various complaints, there was a visit from OSHA that resulted in a $50K citation that FM had to pay. Since, there has been continuous work on the DO side to mitigate something like this from happening again. Now, there are going to be official guidelines around how office and department space should be used. Employees are encouraged to personalize their workspace using non-invasive and removable options. NO HOLES IN WALLS (Even in new buildings). Any physical modifications to office and dept space must be coordinated through operations and facility management.
