-Steven Roberson and Rick Ramirez shared that the IEP team is still on track to meet the deadline of presenting a 1st draft reading on April 16th and a 2nd draft for April 30th to councils. 
-They are working closely with Research to review the collected data to identify common themes. They have created shared folders to gather continuous feedback from the IEP team members who may have conflicts with making all the meetings as they move forward. 
-They have presented to the Academic Senate, and it was recommended that they also present to the Classified Senate and Student Senate bodies.

-David gave an update on the timelines for the IEP Workgroup, which should conclude by the end of Spring 2026 in May. 
-The Distance Education charter should also be approved by the end of Spring 2026. Hence, the workgroup can begin to be formed to start their work in Fall 2026. 

-David also introduced the HomeBases Charter draft and invited IEC members to provide feedback, especially in the objectives area and the project’s membership.

-A reminder was given to the council members of having only two remaining meeting dates left for this Spring 2026 term (April 27th & May 18th).

-Brenda Valles shared the PPT presentation of updates that was shared with all three senate bodies. A presentation to the ELT (Executive Leadership Team) is next for final approval before taking it to the Board of Trustees in September and final submission in October 2026.
