| Member Updates Co-Chair Updates - Online drop-in Financial Aid option; can students be added to a call-back option (update from Robin) - Request for instructors to identify courses that need tutoring support at the beginning of the semester - AI related question re: student privacy (see AI Constitutions attachment) | Nicole Porter | -The PRIDE Center is hosting an event next Tuesday featuring a trans activist in honor of Transgender Awareness Month. The event will take place on November 12 at the Unite Center. -The Career Center is holding several events to promote career resources, including the Handshake platform for job postings. They are offering in-person support to help students set up accounts and navigate the platform. -The Career Center is collaborating with the Counseling department on upcoming services for students. -The ASB is hosting a peer tutoring workshop where students will tutor fellow students. The workshop will include food and a raffle. -Hiring student workers has been challenging. HR is actively hiring staff to streamline and support the hiring process. |

-Share the QR code for the College Hour survey. -Gather information specific to November to determine content for future surveys. -A minimum of 50 students participated in the last survey on October 31. -Additional questions or topics can be added to the survey to better address student needs. -Plan to have a presence at events in February, March, and April. -Consider setting up a suggestion box to collect student feedback on College Hour and related topics. |
