Success Rate by Modality Report Jen Laflam & Yuj Shimizu A member of the research team came to discuss the attached report concerning course success rates between online and on-ground classes.
- The timeframe was Spring '21, Fall '21, and Spring '22.
- Overall, course success rates were slightly higher for On-ground modalities vs Online modalities.
- Traditionally disproportionately impacted students success rates were higher for On-ground modalities vs Online
modalities.
- Course success rates were higher for On-ground modalities vs Online modalities for all genders.
- More information and graphs can be found in the attached report.
Learning Communities - Priority Registration David Austin The Council was asked to discuss the possibility of granting Priority Registration to students from ARC Learning Communities.
- This would help support all marginalized groups.
- Sends a message to all DI groups that they are welcomed at ARC.
- What changes would this require at ARC? At LRCCD?
