Jeff Stephenson will share updates about reopening, COVID protocols, and vaccine requirements. Then, we will have time for discussion and Q&A. Jeff Stephenson The Chair filled in for Jeff Stephenson reporting on past mask mandate successes and current vaccine mandate roll out to students and employees. Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 enrollment numbers suggested declines of between 2% to 22% statewide. For Spring 2021, ARC enrollment was down by 12% compared to Spring 2020; Fall 2021 enrollment is down by 5.88% compared Fall 2020. While initial guidance for Spring 2022 scheduling was a "traditional mix of face to face and online classes," there will be a greater shift to online. These shifts will be based on a variety of factors, including curriculum, student demand, and staffing.
Bias Response Project Team: This semester, the Student Success Council will "sponsor" a project team who will research and make recommendations on how to respond effectively to bias incidents at the College. Please review the attached draft charter. Do you have any questions or suggestions for changes/additions? Feel free to add comments directly to the draft charter, or you can share them at the meeting or email them to Frank or I. Frank Kobayashi & Sarah Lehmann The Bias Response Project Team's charter, purpose/scope, objectives, indicators, assumptions and deliverables were outlined to the Council.
