Feedback from Student Success Council Marsha and Daniel
Project team received feedback about the DE Plan from the Student Success Council and the Council would like the feedback integrated the plan made by the 2nd reading on April 2.  Marsha and Daniel will attend the Council's March 19 meeting to discuss the plan and hear more feedback from the members.  Currently the Academic Senate is reviewing the Plan and some of the feedback given has already been integrated.

How do we most effectively integrate feedback into the Plan? What are your ideas? Marsha and Daniel • The Student Success Council provided summary of their discussion
• SSC is impressed by the report and appreciate the hard work of ARC ONLINE team
• Some questions were raised and suggestions were made by SSC
•The project team members provided initial feedback for each bullet point made by the Council:
1. Need more clarification from SSC on the format of the summary and their expectations to fulfill their requirements
2. Pamela will take a lead and expend section 1.2 on Equity & Social Justice.
3. Pamela will write a feedback to clarify information on online instructors to be more equity-conscious in using new tools.
4. Marsha and Daniel with request data for success rates in online courses from Research
5. Marketing and advertising will contribute to understanding who will be the focus for student population who pursue 100% online education. Daniel will make a statement for subteam #4.
6. We would like to hear directly from the equity group to learn more about methods of evaluation for meeting equity goals
7. Kevin and Daniel provided ideas in reference to engaging online students who don’t start a transfer-level math/or English
8. Marsha will go over and take care of the issue of initialism such as CVC-OEI
9. ARC ONLINE 2.0 was the project title given to the team. Concern about the title is noted.
10. Marsha will take care of mentioned details for Integrated Planning Guide and writing an executive summary
• The chairs did an excellent work writing the whole plan draft and the work of all active teams is appreciated
