DISCUSSION ITEMS:
Question Person(s) Responsible Notes and Next Steps
Should the team remove the Elementary Teacher Education AA-T from the list of degrees that must be mapped this year? It is being revised, but there are issues holding it up. Bill Simpson The team discussed this and decided to take it off the list.
Can classified staff be map mentors? The original design was to have faculty do it, but classified staff have expressed interest. Bill Simpson The team discussed this and decided that maps are really being created by faculty with assistance from map mentors, so map mentors don't have to be faculty.
How does the Clarify Program Paths project fit into the overall college redesign effort? Bill Simpson Bill shared a graphic and timeline discussed at the last ELT meeting that shows the integrated design being worked on by the PES. Bill was asked to pass on concerns about "Course Schedule Choices" to the SSC and ask for clarification.
Should the team set deadlines for completing all of the "top 10" and ADT roadmaps? If so, what should they be? Bill Simpson Faculty have asked what the deadlines are, but we don’t have any yet. The team decided to discuss appropriate deadlines at a future meeting.
