What Happened In The Councils?
Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
- Notifications from Senates and Governance Councils
- First readings of the Project Team reports
- Approval of the SEAP for 2022-25. Next steps will be submission to NOVA.
Student Success Council (SSC)
- HomeBase Resource Panel 2.0 Report was presented and discussed.
- Bias Response - First Reading was presented and discussed.
- Student Equity and Achievement Program Plan (SEAP) draft was presented and discussed.
Institutional Effectiveness Council (IEC)
- Onboarding Project Team - had a 2nd reading and was affirmed.
- There was an update given on the reaffirmation of the Strategic Goals.
- An update was given on the Student Equity and Achievement Program: American River College - Student Equity Plan (2022-25). It is ready to submit to NOVA.
- IEC is building a calendar for items IEC oversees throughout each semester or the year.
Operations Council (OC)
- Changes to the Los Rios PD shifts on campus
- Facilities Projects at various stages will be occurring across the ARC campus and outreach centers including: Natomas Center Phases II & III, Athletics areas, Tech Ed, Veteran's Resource Center, and a Turf Reduction/Drought Tolerant Landscaping Improvements project.
- Recent Safety Concerns were addressed including recent Rave notifications and the STEM Building elevator issues.
- Upcoming signage for the sculptures outside of the Welcome Center.
