What Happened In The Councils?
Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
- Updates from Teams, Councils and Senates
- Proposed name for ITC: Center for Institutional Equity and Innovation
- Accreditation site visit October 10th-12th
- Working on a return to campus: conversations on what makes sense, making people feel safe
- SEAP plan to run through constituency and other governance groups. ELT will approve at November meeting.
- There are many issues with the current student petitions, a new group to look into these issues mentioned in ELT Notes. The group will begin information gathering immediately.
Student Success Council (SSC)
- Update on Undocuscholar charter and next steps.
- A discussion on ARC website data took place.
- The Bias Response Team provided a check in/status update.
- An update on the 90 Day Outreach planning was presentedd
- A discussion pertaining to Student Communications took place.
- A discussion pertaining to Petitions Project Team Reimagine petitions process to create a more equitable practice for students. Next steps involve seeking input from DO leadership and College student services leadership on status of petition process updates. Once feedback is collected, a Resource Panel will be convened.
- Monthly Research Executive Summary research topic: What is the demographic make-up of employees: managers, faculty (tenure and adjunct), classified (permanent and temporary), and student employees?
Institutional Effectiveness Council (IEC)
- 1st Reading - Employee Onboarding Team
- Made updates on Annual Unit Planning and Program Review Cycle. All areas currently working on program review will be excused from working on their unit plan Fall 22.
- An update was given on the reaffirmation process for our Strategic Goals. The reaffirmation process will take place Fall 22.
- There was as an update made on the current Professional Development. The call for Flex presentations has gone out and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness has started the planning process for Spring 23 event.
- Discussed how the ISER team site visit went
