What Happened In The Councils?
Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
- Considered the adoption of the Institutional Equity Plan.
- In support of the DI Populations project team.
- Discussing themes that are being seen by the assessment of the 2018-19 governance process.
Student Success Council (SSC)
- Reviewed the First Year Experience report and discussed feedback and recommendations to share with the Resource Panel.
- Positive feedback - Equity focused
- The report aligns with our 'Student First' goals.
- The report will assist the work of future project teams.
- Developing project teams for next year.
- Discussed feedback from Senates concerning the DI Project Team
Institutional Effectiveness Council (IEC)
- Provided input on Convocation.
- Reviewed governance evaluation.
- Institutional Equity Plan edits were approved
- Support needed for Governance and Integrated Planning
- Someone needs to be the 'keeper of the flame'
- Monitor Activities, Calendars, Administrative and Organizational pieces.
- Committee has met - moving forward to hire FT position
Operations Council (OC)
- No meeting in May
What Are We Working On?
Councils and Teams need to complete filling vacant seats.
What's Next?
There will be training when we return in late summer/early fall.
